Michael's work as an instructor for 20+ years includes mathematics, special education,  and digital photography & imaging technology. Michael currently works as the K-6 Math Coach & Interventionist for Ware Public Schools in Ware, MA. Prior to Ware, Michael worked for Holyoke Public Schools as a middle school Mathematics Instructional Coach providing professional development and implementation support for the Illustrative Mathematics curriculum.

Michael joined the Western Massachusetts Mathematics Partnership in 2016 when he participated in his first WMMP PLC. Since that time, he has attended numerous WMMP events and regularly attends WMMP admin meetings. In the spring of 2023, Michael led his first PLC, and that fall was selected as a presenter for the 2023 WMMP Fall Institute. His most recent WMMP workshops have focused on Numeracy Assessment, Intervention, and Instruction.
